During lunch with parents...(in our sg cantonese)
Dad: woooooo look at the papaya and watermelon in the fridge, it is sooooooo red!
Mum: aiya, it is because of the flourescent lights ma.
Dad: no la! They must have sprayed it with some fruit coloring b4 display.
Me: NO LA! They must have got a shi fu to kai-guang before displaying!
Dad & MuM: -.-!
This morning walking to office...Mrs Chew: Good morning WC! Had ya breakfast?
Me: Hey! Good morning ? Mrs Chew! *waving my papaya milkshake proudly* This is my breakfast!
Mrs Chew: Sure looks healthy, but filling ma?
Me: Can la, it is very nutritious you know...
*Note to selfI can vividly recall few years back when i heard some DJ mention that to fill one's tummy in a healthy way, eating 70% full is equivalant to a full tummy. There is no need to gorge to 100% for it will be unhealthy for one's gastrointestinal tract to handle.
Yeah, healthy is the way. Instead of the nonsensical downing nauseau causing food in the morning (all the oily noodles, and fried stuff, even porridge is oily nowadays), why not just go for a fruit milkshake?
Sure packs a punch, and yea detox to your body!
OH! My FAM turned out really great! Ok i finally do trust leaving the FAM in the fridge for a night, for the flavour to develop, prior to serving....
